International Adoption Process
  1. Select the country you want to adopt from.
  2. Apply for a Home Study program with us.
  3. Start gathering the required documents for your dossier.
  4. Start with the Immigration and Naturalization process with the I-600A form from the USCIS web site.
  5. Wait for the pre-approval of your Home Study from the USCIS after submission.
  6. Upon receipt of the I-171 H pre-approval to adopt from the USCIS, authenticate and translate your dossier documents to the language of your adoptive child's country.
  7. Submit your dossier to the foreign government.
  8. Wait for a child referral and the Referral documents.
  9. Upon receipt of Referral, evaluate the documents and accept a child referral.
  10. Submit the required documents to USCIS (if applicable).
  11. Upon receipt of travel invitation to meet your child, you can then travel to your child's native country to complete the adoption process.
  12. If Post Placement evaluations are necessary, begin re-adoption procedures.
