Steps for Adoption Placement

For Adoption Services Worldwide to help you, make the initial contact with us either by phone or office visit to meet the staff. Next, you must go through the following procedures:

  1. You must fill out a Birth Parent Packet. This will allow us to get to know you on a personal basis that we could meet your needs. We believe that every individual is unique. Your needs may be different from other birth mothers we cater to.
  2. Have an appointment with a medical doctor so that you and your baby can receive the best medical care.
  3. After your medical check-ups, you will be asked to choose the adoptive family for your baby. At least three profiles will be shown to you. These include a Dear Birth Mother letter, de-identified information forms, and pictures of the family. You have the right to choose the family you feel is best for your baby.

Should you need it, individual counseling will be provided. A qualified counselor will provide you with advice and answer whatever questions you may have regarding this process. You can meet with the counselor whenever you feel the need to (i.e. daily, twice a week, every other week). Phone contact is also important.

Child placement staff is on call 24 hours a day the whole week. If you ever need to speak to someone anytime, a child placement staff will be available.
